Further to this letter, and the fact that most, if not all parishes in the Diocese,  presented the Cathedral with two kneelers, to signify that all the parishes were a contributor.

Subsequently, now the Cathedral are shortly to dispense with their pews; to be replaced by chairs, not all the kneelers will be required.  Therefore, any parish that contributed two kneelers, are being offered the opportunity to having one of their kneelers returned to the parish.

The Cathedral contacted me and I agreed to having one of ours back and will be collecting it on 17th February.  Returning a piece of history back to Holy Innocents Great Barton.
