St Peter’s Church Thurston Christmas Tree Festival
The Christmas Tree Festival will take place on the weekend of 12th & 13th December, so we hope this date is in your diary.
‘’Christmas Around the World’’, is the theme this year, but you do not have to follow this. You can decorate your tree as you wish. Your tree needs to be no more than 2metres high and any lights must be powered by batteries. Setting up of the trees will be on Friday 11thDecember 11.00am to 6.00pm, or by arrangement.
This invitation is open to businesses, schools, community groups, clubs, families, individuals; or you could join with your neighbours to provide a tree. Personal invitations to businesses and groups will be sent out, by email, at the beginning of November and we would ask that all replies are with us by mid-November.
In the meantime, we are keen to receive bookings for your tree space, so please do contact the churchwardens.
Let us mark the beginning of the festive period by filling the church with uniquely decorated trees and make this a meaningful community event.
So, get in touch now!!
