pray for:

  • All those who have asked for our prayers and their families: Giles, Andrea, Jack, Hilda Murray, Jane’s brother Jon, Carol Crossley, Noreen and Martin, Morris, Alexander, Charlie, Elizabeth Weller and Brian Meen.
  • We pray for those who have died recently, among them John Sawyer, George Langley, Kate Trevitt. Elizabeth (Betty) Cook, Irene Jones, Margaret Ward and Christopher Ayling.
  • We pray for all who mourn the loss of a loved one. We also remember all those whose anniversaries fall at this time. May they rest in peace and rise in glory.
  • We pray for all the people in the parishes of Great Barton and Thurston.
  • We remember all those key workers who have died in the line of duty and pray for their families and friends left behind.
  • We pray for all those anxiously waiting for the lockdown to ease, not knowing whether their businesses will survive this pandemic.
  • We pray for all the residents and staff in our care homes; those who are bewildered and missing visits from their relatives and to all those staff who are selflessly living in the homes to try and eliminate the spread of the virus.

We pray for our church in this time of uncertainty, for those who are worried about attending worship and for those who will feel more isolated by not being able to attend
