If you would like to attend next week’s service of Holy Communion at Holy Innocents at 10.30am, please contact Tim Frost on Tel. 07840 249448 or email timfr0st@yahoo.co.uk by 12 noon on Friday to reserve a place. Thank you.
God bless. From Rev'd Manette

Social distancing limits the numbers who can attend and you will need to book a place if you wish to attend the service. Contact details of those attending will be kept for 3 weeks after the service and given to Track and Trace if someone who attended later tests positive for coronavirus. We ask you not to attend the service if you feel in any way unwell.

Face coverings are required by law to be worn in places of worship unless you have a legitimate reason not to. There are some valid exemptions, in particular, those who are leading services and those who assist them (for instance by reading, preaching, or leading prayer) do not always need to wear a face covering, although one should be worn especially if physical distancing cannot be maintained (i.e. distributing consumables). This exemption does not apply to worshippers, who should wear face coverings consistent with the requirements for any other public space.
For those who are reading or leading the intercessions, please walk up to the front of the church when it is your turn. You can then remove your facemask and read / lead the prayers. Please put your facemask back on before returning to your place.
It should be remembered that face coverings are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus (COVID-19) and that they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.
Hand sanitiser will be provided. Please observe social distancing of 2 metres. Seating in church will be arranged and there will be no singing during the service. More information will be given at the beginning of the service.

Holy Innocents Church, Gt. Barton & St. Peter's Church, Thurston will be open for individual private prayer on Saturdays from 2.00pm - 4.00pm and Sundays 12.00 noon - 4.00pm.           The toilets will remain locked for the time being.
