The long and hot summer has turned into a wonderful autumn. The leaves display beautiful colours, red, yellow and brown, and sunny and warm days are followed by cooler nights. As I write this, it is still dry and the pots on the patio need watering – but we brace ourselves as rain and storms have been forecast. We’ve had our Harvest Festival services and in both our churches we have received many Harvest gifts which this year again go to Storehouse, the food bank in Bury St Edmunds. A big ‘Thank You’ to members of our congregations, to our primary schools and the Great Barton Beavers for supporting our Harvest appeal.
November’s meeting was full of Christmas cheer as members made decorations for the upcoming Christmas Tree Festival
